Please book your flights to arrive in Lisbon International Airport (Airport Code- LIS). Schedule to arrive before 4PM on August 16, 2026 to not miss our welcome dinner. This morning, we’ll taste our way through Lisbon’s historic heart, savoring sweet convent pastries, sipping cherry liqueur, and indulging in savory street food favorites like bifanas, cod fritters, and artisanal cheeses. Along the way, we’ll weave through charming streets, uncover hidden gems, and of course, enjoy a warm pastel de nata fresh from the oven. It’s a flavorful journey through the city’s soul—where every bite tells a story.

Today, we journey into Portugal’s layered history, exploring its colonial past and the powerful influence of African heritage. Through art, poetry, music, and cuisine, we’ll honor the stories and resilience of the African diaspora—visiting intimate galleries, listening to moving Kriolu verse, and savoring a soulful Cape Verdean brunch. We’ll end the day in rhythm with a Batuku workshop, feeling the heartbeat of tradition, resistance, and joy. It’s an experience that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit while deepening our connection to this vibrant culture. At night join us for an optional outing to explore LGBT Nightlife in Lisbon.

We’ll gather at the historic Casa de Linhares, a noble 16th-century home reborn as one of Lisbon’s most iconic Fado houses. Over a delicious dinner of classic Portuguese cuisine, let the haunting melodies and heartfelt lyrics of Fado wash over you—music that tells the soul-stirring stories of Lisbon’s people and has earned its place as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. It’s an evening of culture, history, and emotion you’ll never forget.

Today, we journey north to the captivating city of Porto, where history, culture, and scenic beauty blend seamlessly. After checking in to our Porto host hotel and dropping off our bags, we’ll head out for an afternoon city tour, starting with a panoramic drive past modern landmarks and coastal views. From there, we’ll wander the UNESCO-listed old town, explore architectural treasures like the Palácio da Bolsa, São Bento’s iconic tiles, and the 12th-century Cathedral—ending the day with sweeping views over the Douro River and the famed Port Wine lodges.

We’ll kick off the afternoon with a poolside gathering at Renaissance Porto, sharing light bites, laughs, and gorgeous city views. In the evening we'll step aboard a refined dinner cruise on the Douro River, where the illuminated skylines of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia create a magical backdrop. As we glide past historic landmarks and graceful bridges, savor a full dinner inspired by traditional Portuguese flavors—an unforgettable night of connection, romance, and pure Porto charm.

Spend the day with us exploring Porto's markets at our own pace—perfect for picking up treasures and savoring those final moments in the city. In the evening, we’ll gather for our Farewell Dinner at the elegant 1828 Restaurant, where sweeping views of the Ribeira and Douro River set the scene. Over exceptional cuts of Minho and Galician meat paired with fine Port wine, we’ll toast to new friendships, unforgettable memories, and the beauty of our Portuguese journey together.
